We launched our Recycle 2 Mobilise Project in March 2018 to help prevent mobility items heading straight for landfill.

This project enables people to donate their unwanted mobility equipment to us. These items currently must be in an acceptable condition or need minor repairs, we restore items to an acceptable standard & resell at a low cost helping individuals retain their independence and mobility.

The purpose of this project it to Recycle unwanted, abandoned and unused mobility equipment, restoring recycled Mobility equipment donated to Mid Devon Mobility to an acceptable standard, enabling us to offer this equipment for purchase at low price to people on low incomes enabling them to become more mobile. Any items that do not meet our standards will be recycled, broken up and the good parts sold accordingly, ensuring good practice of the recycle 2 mobilise project.

he Recycle 2 Mobilise project helps to meet the financial challenges affecting people with mobility impairment by offering an alternative to buying new.

A drop off and collection service is available for all donated mobility equipment e.g. electric mobility scooters, wheel chairs, power chairs and other disability equipment from individuals and mobility suppliers; this equipment is taken back to our disability friendly workshop for service, repair or to be recycled.

Recycle 2 Mobilise focuses on providing affordable mobility equipment and a repair and maintenance service that aims to help disabled individuals carry out day-to-day activities, getting people access to their local community resulting in reducing isolation and loneliness.

We are currently unable to accept toilet aids such as commodes or toilet seats unless they are brand new.

If you have an item you wish to donate please call us on 01884 242099 and we can arrange a collection or a safe drop off facility.
